Experience Matters

Mr. Patel has 18 years of experience of co-founding and managing various businesses, including Hospitality, Real Estate, Nutrition Drug Manufacturing and Retail Pharmacy.

As Vice Chairman for Nexus Hospitality- Mr. Patel is responsible for managing the Food & Beverage and Banquet departments. He brings vast experience of managing one of the most popular banquet facilities in Long Island. He has done various analysis on F&B operations and profitability, and has restructured departmental financial statements in alignment with each department head's expectations.

Mr. Patel joined forces with the Head Chef and Director of F&B, to come up with a new costing model, a new pricing model, and new booking methods for banquets.  He also actively participated in redesigning the marketing campaign to target prospective groups and clubs as well as individual leads. He is working with the Director of Marketing and local vendors to provide packaged services for weddings and other ceremonies.

In 1997, Mr. Patel started a Pharmaceutical company “Ajes” (www.ajespharma.com) in Copiague, NY. This manufacturing facility for Nutraceutical (Vitamins, Minerals, Herbal & Sport Nutrition) where he is passively responsible for manufacturing activity and Research and Development of new products, the recent being the Panthera brand.

In 2003, Mr. Patel purchased a one of largest Banquet facilities  (www.thesterlingscaterers.com) in Long Island. In two years with his vision and planning he turned a struggling facility into a profitable and popular facility in Long Island. In 2000, he jointly started a Real Estate Investment Club, Anjani Investment. Mr. Patel was on board of advisors. During the time he actively participated in construction of 110 units of Holiday Inn at El Centro, CA. He also owns a portfolio of real estate investments that consist of various commercial income generating properties in Long Island. Mr. Patel is Pharmacy veteran and owner of multiple retail pharmacies.
